The AdvancED Parent Survey will be close on April 1.
Parents are encouraged to participate in the AdvancED Parent Survey. The data from this survey will inform the school and the district about parents’ opinions about our school. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to AdvancED for analysis. Individual data results will not be available to the public and will not be posted online. You may use any personal device to complete this survey. The link to access the http://eprovesurveys.advanc-ed.org/surveys/#/action/922/p913 Greeting Parents!!! The fourth grade team looks forward to having you attend the upcoming workshop. This is your opportunity to find out more information about the format of the test, scoring, the types of questions your children will be required to answer, and ask questions. Parents that attend will receive exclusive study material. The workshop will begin at 1:00 in room 2030 (Ms. Walker's room) and will last approximately 45 minutes.
One of the most important habits for children to learn is Habit 5. It is important learn how to listen to the viewpoint of others and try to understand that perspective before making their viewpoint heard. This is a life skill and people who have the ability to do so well are great at creating a harmonious environment. For the writing of the month, The Whizzies were charged with the task of presenting the viewpoints for and against a given topic with a partner. WONDERFUL dialogue erupted and the children did a fabulous job researching information to support their claims. I was overjoyed to hear their perspectives on topics like children voting before the age of 18, children choosing their teachers and smoking. JOB WELL DONE WHIZ KIDS!!! Keep up the GREAT work!! Thanks SO much parents and Whiz Kids for making Teacher Appreciation Week AWESOME!! I appreciate the effort that was put into making me feel special and appreciated!!
